Planning estimate only. Official bills also include fuel adjustment (FCA), quarterly adjustments and other charges that change by month.

Calculate Your Electricity Bill

How Does Electricity Bill Calculator Work?

Enter units, choose protected or unprotected domestic (or commercial), and select your provider for labelling. Energy is calculated from official slab rates; fixed charges use the NEPRA table; GST is applied as an approximate 18% on energy plus fixed. FCA and other monthly lines are not included.

Electricity Bill Calculation Formula in Pakistan

A practical electricity bill estimate follows this idea:

Electricity Bill ≈ Energy (slab rates) + Fixed Charges + Taxes (+ FCA / other adjustments on the official bill)

Unprotected domestic consumers are billed at the rate of the consumption band for all units. Protected consumers (typically ≤200 units with qualifying history) pay lower subsidised rates. Crossing 200 units can move a home into the unprotected category.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this electricity bill calculator accurate?

Energy and fixed charges follow NEPRA S.R.O. 279(I)/2026 base rates used by major DISCOs. Official bills still add FCA, quarterly adjustments and other lines, so treat this as a close estimate, not a payment figure.

How can I calculate my monthly electricity bill?

Enter units from your meter or last bill, choose protected or unprotected (or commercial), select provider, then press Calculate Bill. Review energy, tax, fixed charges and total estimate.

Which electricity companies are supported?

IESCO, MEPCO, LESCO, PESCO and FESCO share the same NEPRA uniform domestic base tariff. Provider selection labels your estimate; slab rates are the same.

Why is my actual bill different?

Monthly fuel adjustment, quarterly tariff changes, electricity duty, TV fee, arrears and protected-status rules all change the final amount. Always pay according to the official DISCO bill.

How many electricity units does an average home use?

Usage depends on appliances, family size and season. Small households may stay near or under 200 units; homes with air conditioners often use 300–700+ units in summer.
